on my way

This is my view, whilst driving up the street towards my house.

This is my house the day before half the oranges littered our yard due to high winds. And I thought leaving Kansas behind would eliminate such occurrences, but no. They're supposed to get up to even 45-50mph in parts of my area. Little Neo (that's my car btw) felt like he was going to blow on the highway last night.

And below are three corners of my room - still in progress. With cement walls, I'm not really sure how to hang things - or at least how I'm allowed to, so I found the only available nails for my friend, michelle's paintings. Hopefully soon I can space things out properly. :) And get a desk for my computers! Sitting on the floor and using my leg as a mouse pad, isn't the most comfortable set-up. :)

  4. yes, the oranges are great. so much more exciting to eat off the tree, for free. so strange, too.

  6. the official hunt begins via email. checking out the UTA job lists and emailing ones that sound cool. a lot of people want you to fax - so i'll have to gather those and do a large batch maybe later this week at a kinko's perhaps.

  7. I think eating oranges off a tree in your own front yard may just outweigh the downfall of LA traffic...maybe.
